Onomatopoeia

07 Apr

Onomatopoeia #teachersfollowteachers #figurativelanguageSo yesterday I forgot to post one of my Poems for National Poetry Month. So instead if not one of my poems, I’ll post something having to do with Poetry.  Onomatopoeia is the words that are a sound. I came across this poem and loved the thought of it I just had to post it here!

I always forget that ‘O’ before the E at the end.

another way you can teach yourself to spell it is cut it into words as a silly (possibly Nonsensical)  sentence!

ON    O,Ma   To   POE (as in the poet)   IA

Of course there is also

ONO  MA TOP eia

you just have to work on it to figure out which way you would remember best.
